The latest data shows that micro-influencers, influencers with 10,000 or fewer followers, are getting the best results for brands and businesses. More engagement, more clicks, and lower ROI.

In HelloSociety’s study, survey respondents were more than three times as likely to follow an influencer rather than follow a brand.

  • Influencers with 10,000 followers or more have just a 3.6% engagement.

  • Influencers with 5,000 to 10,000 followers have a 6.3% engagement.

  • And influencers with 1,000 to 5,000 followers have the highest engagement at an 8.8%
